Short bio
Eugene Bernitsky is the founder of a Florida-based appliance repair network operating three brands (Berne Repair, Berne Appliance Repair, and Norma Appliance Repair) with 20 field technicians and over 7,500 service jobs per year. A heat power engineer by education, he built and led a regional-leading sports nutrition retail chain in Eastern Europe before immigrating to the US with his family in 2022.
He founded Berne the same year, growing it from two technicians to a 30-person company in under four years. He writes about skilled trades, immigrant entrepreneurship, and small business automation.
